Ministry Update March 2025

As we step into March, we are excited to share the incredible ways God is moving through Dare for More Ministries. Your prayers and support continue to fuel the work happening both in Guatemala and beyond. Here are a few key updates:

Mission Trips Are Underway!
Our 2025 mission season is off to a wonderful start! We have already begun hosting vision trips, church groups, and partner organizations. It has been a joy to introduce others to the heart of our work and the women and families being transformed by God’s love. This year, we have 15 mission trips scheduled! Please pray with us for each group traveling to serve—for safety, open hearts, and life-changing encounters.

Language School in Guatemala
This month I, Lisa, am spending an extended period in Guatemala attending language school. This is a long process to become fluent. Learning the language is a vital step as I continues to train and equip leaders on the ground. This investment will allow me to communicate more effectively with the women we serve, build deeper relationships, and better support our growing ministry team. Please pray for me as I study, and ask God to use this time to equip me for even greater impact.

Mercy Workshop Staff Visit
We are grateful to welcome the team from Mercy Workshop, a like-minded sister ministry and long-time CarePartners with DFM, to spend time ministering to our Dare for More Guatemala staff. Caring for women in crisis can be emotionally and spiritually demanding. We pray that this time will be a refreshing retreat for our team, renewing their strength as they continue to pour into others. Please join us in asking God to encourage and uplift our staff during this visit.

Medical Center Update
We are thrilled to announce that the paperwork has been completed, and the medical clinic is now officially part of Dare for More Guatemala! We are actively serving patients from several impoverished communities in the area. We have hired a dedicated doctor to work with our team of 10 staff members who are offering physical care while also sharing the hope of Christ with each patient. We are still seeking the right director to lead this vital ministry. Please pray that God will bring the right person to oversee this work and lead with wisdom and compassion.

Additionally, we have started bringing our mission teams to the medical center to work on revitalization projects. These efforts will enhance our ability to serve families with excellence. We look forward to sharing more stories of how God is using the center to bring healing, both physically and spiritually.

Thank you for standing with us. Your prayers, your giving, and your encouragement make all of this possible. Together, we are bringing hope, healing, and freedom to women and families in Guatemala.

In His Grace,
Lisa Potter
