Ministry Update November 2024
Recent Travels
I’m writing to you from a hotel in Reno, NV, in the midst of my busy fall meeting schedule. I just returned from a wonderful weekend in Alturas, California, where I had the privilege of sharing God’s Word with women from Northern California, Oregon, and Nevada. Meeting new people and encouraging their hearts with the truth of Scripture is one of the greatest joys of my work. In the coming weeks, I’ll be traveling to Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, and Michigan, so your prayers for strength and safe travels are greatly appreciated!
Booking for 2025-2026
Looking ahead, we are already booking events into 2025 and 2026. If you’d like me to speak at your women’s event, please reach out! These events not only provide encouragement but also support women in crisis by offering their handmade products for purchase. It’s a beautiful way to make a difference in the lives of women and their families.
This year, I’m also working on an exciting new writing project, and I ask for your prayers as I seek God’s guidance in finding the right words to impact lives. Along with that, our team is busy creating free resources to help you stay spiritually motivated all year long. We’re filling up our YouTube channel with encouraging videos, and I hope you’ll check them out.
Upcoming Events
As the weather cools in Chattanooga, we’re gearing up for two exciting events. First, our year-end giving project will soon be announced—stay tuned for updates in your email and on social media! Second, it’s time for Christmas shopping, and our Dare for More store is packed with beautiful products made by the women we support in Guatemala. From leather handbags to men’s briefcases and children’s pouches, there’s something for everyone. When you shop with us, you’re directly helping women and their families move from darkness into healing. We’d love for you to share our store with friends and family, spreading the word that shopping for a cause has real, life-changing impact!
Safe House Update
Finally, our Safe House in Guatemala is currently at full capacity, and we are working hard to not only provide healing for the women and children but also to pursue justice. Our staff is collaborating with judges and lawyers to bring perpetrators to trial. Though we don’t talk about this aspect of our work often, it is essential to achieving true freedom for these women—freedom from fear and abuse, and the ability to live peacefully in their communities once more. Please keep our team in your prayers as they face the challenges of this vital work.
Thank you, as always, for your prayers and support. We couldn’t do this work without you. Together, we are stepping into the darkness and bringing women and their children into the light.
