Ministry Update September 2024

As summer fades and school routines settle in, we at Dare for More are gearing up for one of our busiest seasons. The fall is packed with mission trips, speaking engagements, and exciting plans for the future. We’re grateful for your continued support and prayers as we dive into this season.

Fall Ministry and Speaking Events
This time of year is always a whirlwind, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love sharing the Dare for More story with women across the country. This fall, I’ll be traveling from Pennsylvania to California and many places in between, speaking at women’s events and connecting with new friends. Your prayers for safe travels and meaningful connections are deeply appreciated. While I’m on the road, our incredible team will be leading mission trips to Guatemala. Please keep them in your prayers as they work on the frontlines, bringing hope and help to those in need.

Annual Board Meeting
We’re also preparing for our annual Dare for More Board meeting. I’m so blessed to work with a board that is passionate about Jesus and dedicated to helping families worldwide. As we come together to approve budgets and discuss the future, please pray for God’s guidance. We have big dreams that we believe He is calling us to pursue, and these board members play a crucial role in shaping those visions.

Creative Fundraising and Community Support
I’m always inspired by the creative ways churches and groups support our mission. This fall, Dallas Bay Baptist Church is hosting a men’s golf tournament, with the proceeds going to help our work in Guatemala. As someone who loves golf, I’m thrilled to see such a fun event contributing to a cause so close to my heart. We’re incredibly grateful for this partnership and the difference it will make.

Stories of Healing and Hope
At our Safe House, we’re at full capacity, and it’s a privilege to walk alongside these women and children as they heal. Recently, one of the women shared a new part of her story with me. Despite the scars she carries from past trauma, she told me, “I hope my scars can help others in some way. I am healing, and I believe God can use my life to help others.” Her words were both humbling and inspiring. Her strength and hope in the face of unimaginable pain are a powerful reminder of the resilience God can bring into our lives. She has challenged me to view my own difficulties with the same grace and courage.

Exciting Holiday Preparations
As we look toward the holiday season, we’re preparing some new items for our store. Keep an eye out for a few limited-edition leather products, a new holiday coffee blend, and several other new offerings that will make perfect gifts. We’re excited to share these with you soon!

Thank you for your unwavering prayers and support. We are honored to partner with each of you in this work. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of those in crisis.

Thank you for walking this journey with us. We are so grateful for each one of you.
