Ministry Update January 2025

Pressing Toward the Mark

Hello Friends,

As we step into this new year, it’s natural to look back and celebrate the highlights of the past—moments when things went just right and we saw incredible progress. Yet, God continually calls us forward, encouraging us to trust Him as we press on into what’s next. Paul reminds us in Philippians 3:13-14, “Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” I know this year will be filled with its own challenges and blessings, but I’m excited to wake up each day knowing that we get to be part of work that truly makes a difference.

In the coming months, you’ll be hearing much more about our medical clinic in Guatemala. We have big dreams and important steps ahead. We’re planning to schedule a few medical trips, inviting doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel to serve with us hands-on. Together, we’ll improve the facility, care for those who are hurting, and bring practical healing and hope. Keep an eye out for more details as we get things rolling!

Transition remains a key part of our ministry. As some of the women we’ve helped have found safe, stable places to restart their lives, it’s opened the door for new women and their children to come under our care. The first weeks are always challenging—full of unknowns and adjustments—but it’s in these moments that your prayers mean the most. Please lift up our Guatemalan staff and these new families as they settle in, begin to heal, and discover what true safety and freedom feels like.

As you walk into this new year, my prayer for you is to take a moment and define what truly matters in your life. Ask yourself what’s important—and then consider how you can take tangible steps to grow, change, or strengthen those areas. Knowing where you want to go is the first step toward reaching it, and I hope you find clarity and courage as you chart your path forward.

Thank you for journeying with us. Your support, prayers, and willingness to partner in this work continue to make a real impact.
