Ministry Update February 2025

We are so excited to share an update on our new medical clinic! God has been so faithful, and your generosity and prayers have been a vital part of making this vision a reality.

First, we are thrilled to announce that God has provided the full amount needed to sustain the clinic for its first year! This is a huge answer to prayer, as the clinic’s operation costs were not included in our 2025 budget. Now, we can begin operations with confidence, knowing that we have the resources to run the clinic for an entire year. This gives us time to build additional support to cover the ongoing costs for 2026 and beyond.

A patient room in the medical clinic.

Pray for these rooms as they are used to treat so many families in these villages we are ministering to.

We are still praying for God to provide a Medical Director for the clinic. This is a critical role, and we are trusting God to lead the right person to us. We are seeking someone bilingual in Spanish and English with a medical degree as an RN, BSN, NP, PA, or MD. This person will need to have a heart for serving in a rural village setting and the vision to oversee the clinic’s operations. Please join us in praying for this important need.

Over the next few months, we are taking steps to make the clinic a welcoming place for the community. Plans include painting the outside of the building and putting up a new sign that introduces Dare for More to the local villages. These updates will help us connect with the community and let them know we’re here to serve.

Reba and Anita

We are so grateful for our sister in Christ, Anita, and the many years she has invested in ministering to so many at the medical clinic.

Some of you have asked if the clinic is just for women. The answer is no—it is open to the entire community across three villages. However, the majority of patients are women and children. We see this clinic as a powerful opportunity not only to provide medical care but also to be a gospel light. We believe it will open doors to share the love of Jesus and help identify women and children who may be at risk and in need of additional support.

If you are excited about this clinic and feel called to get involved, we would love to hear from you! There are so many ways to help, whether by bringing your medical skills to Guatemala or supporting the clinic in other ways. Email Lisa Potter at lisa@dareformore.org to learn more.

Finally, we want to say a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who jumped in to help fund the clinic. Your generosity is already making a difference, and we believe God will use your gifts to bring hope and healing to many.

With gratitude,
